44th Annual South High Marathon Dance (SHMD) Livestream Friday, April 30

The 44th Annual South High Marathon Dance (SHMD) will be held Friday, April 30 at Six Flags Great Escape Resort. Due to COVID-19 this will be a private event closed to the public; an online program and live feed will be available. The event will kick-off Friday morning with opening ceremonies and will be broadcast live online at www.shmd.org.

Information about the Live Broadcast Program

The broadcast will begin with our host, SHMD Alumnus, Patrick Fish and will continue through the end of the event. While some specific times are pointed out below, the Broadcast will be full of action-packed activity throughout the day! Programming will include interviews, feature stories, SHMD trivia, live music from local musicians, games, and activities, and of course... Dancing!

New for 2021, The Auction Is Online! – Here’s How To Bid:

A generous 52 items have been made available for auction online. To view and bid on items visit www.shmd.org or clicking BiddingOwl. The auction will conclude at 7:00 p.m. on April 30, 2021. All payments will need to be via credit card and local pick-up only. Pick up will take place by drive up at the High School Cafeteria on Saturday May 1 from 9-11am.

Multiple 50/50 drawings will take place at specified times throughout the event. Each drawing will have 100 tickets for sale, at $10/ticket, with SHMD receiving 50% and the winner choosing gift cards to local businesses for the other 50%. Winners can select gift cards from nearly 100 local businesses. It’s a win/win/win for SHMD, local businesses and perhaps you!
